Essential Functions:

  • Answers incoming telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Manages reservations to effectively seat the entire dining room.
  • Greets guests entering and exiting in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Possesses knowledge of food and beverage menus.
  • Able to properly set and clear tables.
  • Understands the mechanics of service and the general flow of the restaurant.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
  • Provides a professional appearance at all times in accordance with Brooklyn's uniform guidelines.
  • Follows all company guidelines with respect to attendance, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a MOD at any time.

Requirements:

  • Great customer service skills.
  • Able to work all shifts with flexible scheduling including all weekends and holidays Brooklyn's is open.
  • Minimum 16 years of age.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Busser/Barback

Currently Hiring: Part time, shifts run from 4-9 or 10pm. Includes complimentary shift meal, flexible scheduling.

  • Greets guests entering and exiting in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Able to properly set and clear tables.
  • Understands the mechanics of service and general flow of the restaurant.
  • Able to properly use and set up dish sink and dishwasher.
  • Provides a professional appearance at all times in accordance with
  • Brooklyn's uniform guidelines.
  • Follows all company guidelines with respect to attendance, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a MOD at any time.

Requirements:

  • Great customer service skills.

  • Minimum 16 years of age.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs

Bartenders

Currently Hiring: Bartender full time, shifts run from 3-11pm/12am. 2 year minimum experience recommended. Knowledge of classic cocktails, bourbon and wine preferred; will provide training. Includes complimentary shift meal, flexible scheduling, health benefits and paid vacation. 

The Brooklyn and the Butcher Bartender is responsible for serving, setting up and clean up of all bar functions. 

Essential Functions:

  • Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to Brooklyn's specifications, courteously and efficiently.
  • Responsible for all cash drawer functions including accepting payment, making change, and cash drawer balance.
  • Greets guests entering and exiting in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Responds quickly to requests from guests or management in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Understands the steps of service as outlined in the Brand HG training manual.
  • Follows up with guest to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintains supplies and equipment in a neat, organized, and cleanly manner.
  • Provides a professional appearance at all times in accordance with  Brand HG   uniform guidelines.
  • Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Follows all company guidelines with respect to attendance, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a MOD at any time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Strong knowledge of Indiana ATC laws and enforcement. Apply for or hold an Indiana Liquor License.
